Where/When: Friday, Feb. 19 at the Moxie Spot. They show a short film at 6:15 p.m. and Bambi starts at 6:45 p.m.

Why Go: Take your child to see this classic Disney film at this family friendly restaurant and play space. Enjoy some eats while bonding over Bambi.

Pricing: Free (food not included)

Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Toy Museum of New York in Brooklyn Heights.  

Why Go: Enjoy a performance of Queen Marlene's Toy Theatre, where pretend toys come to life. Kids learn about the history of classic toys while being entertained during this fun and interactive live show. The show is 50 minutes and is for ages 4 and up.

Pricing: $10 per person

 

Drop-in Music Class at

Where/When: Sunday, Feb. 20 and 27 from 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. at Gumbo on Atlantic Avenue.

Why Go: Enjoy a sing along with Rolie Polie Guacamole. This popular Brooklyn band for the pre-school set will lead kids in songs from their CD ‘Time for Hummus’ along with all-time familiar favorites, including books like "Brown Bear."  Enjoy dancing, shaking a shaker and have a great time at this drop-in music class.

Pricing: $18 per child, siblings $2, adults free.

Where/When: Monday, Feb. 21 – Sunday, Feb. 27 at Arts Cetera on Smith Street.

Why Go: There is no commitment! Enjoy drop-in classes all week at Artscetera. Classes range from music classes to open play.

Pricing: $20 for Arfie's Music Adventures (45-minute class), $25 for Arfie's Art & Play (1-hour class), $10 for Arfie's Sing Along & Open Play (2 - 3 hours) and Daddy & Me & Arfie Music Adventures (45-minute class). Introductory special: $5

 

Fun Drop-in activities at The Transit Museum

Where/When: Tuesday through Friday during mid-winter recess at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Transit Museum in Downtown Brooklyn.

Why Go: Enjoy daily drop-in activities at the Transit Museum during mid-winter recess. At 11 a.m., stop by to hear stories of buses, subways and bridges at Transportation Tales. Everyday during the break at 2:30 p.m., the museum celebrates National Engineers Week as they design city structures and a transportation system. These activities are for all ages.

Pricing: Free with admission. Admission to museum is $6 for adults, $4 for kids age 3 - 17.
