Gowanus Yacht Club Reopens Early

You can thank the unseasonably warm weather.

The summers-only outdoor suds and snacks joint Gowanus Yacht Club has reopened for the season weeks ahead of its usual schedule due to the recent warm weather, Brokelyn reports.

While the grill won't be ready to fire up until the weekend, patrons can still swing by for drink specials such as "$4 Duff and $5 Jever Pils daily plus a rotation of interesting drafts throughout the summer."

In addition to the beloved pulled pork sammies, burgers and dogs, customers can also expect some new additions to the menu this year, including $1 oysters on Tuesdays, for starters.

HUZZAH! As long as they've still got the veggie dogs, I will make a steadfast commitment to be there nearly as much as that dapper young man who stands out in front with that tray of beers and the clever chalkboard sign all the time. Your wherewithal is thoroughly admirable, sir!
