On Friday, New York electric guitar quartet Dither performs at Extravaganza 2, an experimental music performance featuring composers and performers like Marc Ribot. Nothing like experimental music in the summer!

Try your hand at kayaking - in the East River. Every Saturday, head down to Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse in Dumbo for a free adventure! All equipment is provided!

Head to the somewhat new Columbia Street bar Miknic on Saturday for a night of dancing and DJs. Drink specials: Sangria and Picklebacks! (If you haven't had one, you're missing out...)

 

The biggest Bastille Day celebration in the U.S. returns to Smith Street in Boerum Hill on Sunday. The street will be covered in sand for the petanque tournaments, live music will entertain the masses and French food and pastis will be flowing freely... see you there!
