And if you want to learn some moves yourself, on Saturday at 10 a.m. head to the central branch of the library on Grand Army Plaza. Get your blood pumping and your body moving!

On Saturday at 1 p.m. hit up one of South Brooklyn's great clubs for a family-friendly event. According to their website, "Baby Loves Disco is slowly but surely trans­form­ing the hippest night clubs into child proof dis­cos."

Suny Downstate Long Island College Hospital presents a seminar on Saturday at 1 p.m. on transfusion-free alternatives. A panel of Downstate LICH physicians will present and answer questions.

 

Halloween Event, Post Halloween!

This book event at the Carroll Gardens Library was cancelled last Saturday due to inclement weather, and so it was rescheduled for this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Do Halloween all over again! Mari Takabayashi (author of I LIVE IN BROOKLYN) will share her Halloween book published only in Japan, which tells the story of Halloween in our neighborhood.
