Why Go: The Tori Ensemble represents a collaboration among some of the most respected musicians of the Korean classical tradition and the New York avant-garde scene, transcending musical borders in its acclaimed work that mingles jazz, new music, and ancient Korean traditions ranging from shamanistic rituals to pansori vocals.
