Fireball Will Explode Off Columbia Street Wednesday Afternoon, Says CB6
A movie will simulate an explosion in the sky from property along the Gowanus Bay.
Movie lovers, pyro geeks and any other curious spectators available Wednesday afternoon can witness a fireball exploding off of Columbia Street as part of a film shoot, confirmed 's Craig Hammerman.
The District Manager tweeted the following note on Tuesday afternoon:
"The filming of a movie on 8/22, 2-4pm, will simulate an explosion with a fireball effect on a property near Columbia Street and Gowanus Bay in Brooklyn. The stunt will happen once and FDNY will be on site."

No details were given upon inquiry of what film will be blowing things up.
