Clawing Their Way Back: Lobster Pound Reopens March 1

Don't be surprised to see droves of seafood lovers heading to Red Hook this Friday.

Eater NY has confirmed that beloved neighborhood crustacean-slingers Red Hook Lobster Pound will join Fairway Market in reopening their doors Friday, March 1.

Having spent the last three and a half months rebuilding operations since Sandy struck, recently owners of the Pound have been furiously tweeting pictures of the interior, deep fryer, and more.

And for lobster loving on the run, the Pound's red truck is expected to be back on the road this April, adds Eater.

Looks like it's going to be a tasty spring.
