Cafe Pedlar Wins KRUPS Best Brew Award

The Cobble Hill cafe was one of 11 coffee shops highlighted across the country.

The masses of java drinkers have spoken and a Cobble Hill coffee shop has been voted one of the best in the country. Raise a mug!

KRUPS USA, a worldwide leader in coffee, espresso and kitchen appliances, announced Monday the winners of the 2013 "KRUPS Best Brew Awards"—including none other than Cafe Pedlar on Court Street.

The annual campaign seeks to discover the best coffee shops across the nation by having coffee nerds vote on Facebook and mail write-in entries. Cafe Pedlar was the only winner in New York and one of 11 shops highlighted from coast to coast.

The announcement described the cafe's discerning service as "An artisanal coffee shop in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, this coffee shop features beans roasted by Stumptown Coffee Roasters in Red Hook Brooklyn and classically trained baristas that create espresso drinks that are as beautiful as they are delicious. (210 Court St at Warren St., Cobble Hill)"

What do you think, readers? Does it get your vote for best coffee too?
