Bluestone Cafe Opens in LeFrak Center at Lakeside
Cafe opens at Lakeside Center in Prospect Park.
Lakeside at Prospect Park has debuted two ice rinks to the enjoyment of locals, and now the operator of the center, Upsilon Ventures, has announced that Bluestone Cafe is now open to the public.
The cafe will be open open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. In addition, snacks like hot dogs, soups and chili will be available at Ice Bites, the concession stand located near skate rental.
The center’s signature café winter 2014 menu features starters ranging from $5.50 to $9.50 and salads and main meals priced from $7 to $9.50. Menu items include Grilled Bratwurst with caramelized onions, curried ketchup on a brioche split bun, and chicken “Schnitzel” with caramelized onions, smoked gouda, and spicy aioli on ciabatta bread.
Skaters can also enjoy butternut squash and coconut milk bisque soup topped with pumpkin seeds, Angus Beef sliders, Maple BBQ chicken wings and fried pickles and more.

Salads, veggie sides, desserts and more are also available. Alcoholic beverages can be drank inside of Bluestone but may not be taken outside.
