Annual Grilled Sandwich Contest Will Once Again Benefit Amazing Garden
The third annual competition fundraiser will feature local chefs and live music.
A young, growing tradition continues on Sept. 7 as the third annual grilled sandwich contest fundraiser is set to take place at the Amazing Garden on the corner of Carroll Street and Columbia Street.
This year's contest will feature chefs from Nightingale 9, Iris Cafe and Dassara. Lauren Rauh will represent Iris Cafe, Josh Kaplan Dassara, and Morgan Jarrett for Nightingale 9.
Tickets are $15 and attendees get to sample six sandwiches, enjoy live music, taste beverages from Brooklyn Farmacy and vote for their favorite chefs.
The fundraiser, hosted by Dan Pashman of the Sporkful Podcast, begins at 3 p.m. All proceeds go to support the garden.
