5 Things To Do Today: Watch The LIFE Nature Series, Eat a Secret Breakfast and More

Carroll Gardens-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

1. Entertain the tots. Check out Discovery Channel and the BBC's award-winning nature documentary series, LIFE, all week long at the Audubon Center inside Prospect Park at Eastern Parkway and Flatbush Avenue, 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Free.

2. Enjoy a secret naughty breakfast. If you missed our announcement two days ago, Rucola is now serving Four & Twenty Blackbirds Pie! It's technically being featured on the dinner menu. But the truth is, if you ask nicely enough in the morning, you can start your day off in a decidedly in-the-know fashion. Sweet. Rucola, 190 Dean Street at Bond Street, 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

3. Cut loose after hours. Restaurant, bar and hotel employees are invited to relax and enjoy drink discounts after their shifts end at Service Industry Nights at Brooklyn Buschenschank, 320 Court Street at Sackett Street, Midnight, $4 Jameson shots, 1/2 off drafts, plus pizza and pretzel specials.

4. Find out if your train is running ... The F and G trains will be skipping Smith-9th St, 15th St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway, per usual. Jamaica-bound F trains will run via the M from 47-50 Streets to Roosevelt Avenue. Coney Island-bound F trains run via A the from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech, according to the MTA.

5. ... And if you have to move your car. Yes. Alternate side parking has resumed, according to the NYCDOT.
