5 Things To Do Today: Vote for LICH, Scope Keith Haring, Revel With Roller Derby Girls

1. Click and vote. Downstate LICH recently applied for funding from LIVESTRONG, a partner of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, to bring The Creative Center’s "Hospital Artists in Residence" program to the Othmer Cancer Center. The application had advanced to the final stage and now requires the most votes in order to make it happen. 2. Immerse yourself in art. Today Brooklyn Museum unveils it's latest exhibit . It is the first large-scale exhibition to explore the early career of one of the best-known American artists of the 20th Century. Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Parkway, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Free.
3. Dance with a derbytante. Tonight is the Gotham Girls Roller Derby league's annual blowout at which they introduce a fresh crop of rookie skaters and incoming transfers to derby society. 4. Find out if your train is running ... The F and G trains will be skipping Smith-9th St, 15th St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway, per usual. Jamaica-bound F trains will run via the M from 47-50 Streets to Roosevelt Avenue. Coney Island-bound F trains run via A the from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech, according to the MTA.
5. ... And if you have to move your car. Yes. Alternate side parking is in effect, according to the NYCDOT.
