5 Things To Do Today: Rock Out To Some Uke, Sample Sausages, More

Carroll Gardens-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

1. Get the led out on a ukelele. Or, at least, watch Brittany do so. It's Music Jam Session time at , 152 Atlantic Avenue between Clinton and Henry Streets, 10:00 a.m., Free.

2. See how the sausage is made. presents The Classics: Italian Sausages, Bratwurst, and Bangers. Learn how to make these well-loved sausages with Brooklyn Cured founder Scott Bridi and hands-on practice. You'll even get to take home some of the fruits of your labor. 3. Attend a psychedelic film screening. One in a series called Expanded Screening Experience, the evening will begin with a performance by G.R.A.S.S. (Gowanus Reggae and Ska Society), followed by a 91-minute screening of Vodka Rocks!, a psychedelic satire about three marketing types seeking to dominate their respective fields involving hyper-real costumes, fantasy sequences and other allusions to Natural Born Killers. End the night with a spirited Q&A. Plus, vodka tastings and a competition for the wittiest film-related Tweet of the evening! 4. Find out if your train is running ... The F and G trains will be skipping Smith-9th St, 15th St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway, per usual. Jamaica-bound F trains will run via the M from 47-50 Streets to Roosevelt Avenue. Coney Island-bound F trains run via A the from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech, according to the MTA
