5 Things To Do Today: New Thrift Store, Free Petting Zoo, Music and More

Carroll Gardens-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

1. Get thrifty. The Underground Thrift Store, Plymouth Church House's new fundraising retail shop, is now open every Sunday from 12:30 to 4. Browse designer clothing, children's wear, shoes, accessories, and high-end housewares. A portion of proceeds go toward fighting slavery and human trafficking. , 75 Hicks Street, 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2. Tour a daycare center. Enjoy free raffles, entertainment, refreshments, a petting zoo, cotton candy, snacks and much much more at the Bumblebees R Us Daycare Center. 76 Lorraine Street, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Free.

3. 4. Find out if your train is running ... The F and G trains will be skipping Smith-9th St, 15th St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway, per usual. Jamaica-bound F trains will run via the M from 47-50 Streets to Roosevelt Avenue. Coney Island-bound F trains run via A the from W 4 St to Jay St-MetroTech, according to the MTA
