5 Things To Do Today: Encourage a Teen, Eat Something Spicy, Sing Some Country Songs

1. You need to give your teens an opportunity to be heard. is a monthly open mic series for teen poets, spoken word artists, emcees, scholars and activists to share in a supportive environment surrounded by their peers. The series is run by teens for teens with youth DJs, hosts and a monthly poet. Central Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, 5:00 p.m., free.

2. You need some Orange Apricot Jalapeño & Chipotle hot sauce. Have you been to the market at Ted & Honey lately? 4. You need to know if your train is running ... The F and G trains are running normally this week, but will be skipping Smith-9th St, 15th St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway, Coney Island-bound F trains run via the M from Roosevelt Av to 47-50 Streets, according to the MTA. 

5. ... And if you have to move your car. Yes. Alternate side won't be suspended again until Monday, Feb. 13 for Lincoln's Birthday, according to the NYCDOT.
