5 Things To Do Today: Toddler Time, Burgersmith Bites, Boerum Hill Association Meeting and more

Carroll Gardens-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.

1. You need to get your kids out of the house—and talking. Did you know toddlers can learn at least nine words a day? Wonders never cease! Toddlers 18 to 36 months are welcome at the Toddler Time event to hear stories, rhymes and songs that will encourage those verbal skills. Pacific Library, 25 4th Avenue at Pacific Street, 10:45 a.m. Free.

2. You need to try The Trademark at Burgersmith. Recently opened in , this chainlet focuses on grass-fed beef and sustainably sourced produce. The Trademark burger features a beef burger, cheddar, fresh tomato, bibb lettuce and horseradish-chive aioli stacked on a Portuguese muffin. 3. You need to attend the Boerum Hill Association Meeting. Once a month, the Boerum Hill Association meets to discuss neighborhood issues. Enter through the parking lot on Pacific Street just east of Hoyt Street and ask to be directed to the meeting room. 4. You need to know if your train is running ... The F and G trains are running normally this week, but will be skipping Smith-9th St, 15th St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Parkway, Coney Island-bound F trains run via the M from Roosevelt Av to 47-50 Streets, according to the MTA. 

5. ... And if you have to move your car. Yes. Alternate side won't be suspended again until Monday, Feb. 13 for Lincoln's Birthday, according to the NYCDOT.
