1. Help Sunny’s Red Hook Reopen.
Don’t miss the May Day Party for Sunny's
tonight at The Bell House. This fundraiser featuring the Red Hook Ramblers, John Pinamonti, Li'l Mo & the Monicats and Kings County Blues Band will help raise money to reopen Sunny's bar in Red Hook, which was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy.

2. Come see the subway violinist. Brooklyn Conservatory of Music presents Tom Swafford: Compositions and Extractions. Composer/violinist Tom Swafford will perform compositions for violin, piano and clarinet inspired by fiddle music, tango, African and Eastern European music. 3. Listen to the Golden Quartet. Stop by Roulette for Wadada Leo Smith's Golden Quartet perform “Ten Freedom Summers.”

4. Rock out with Rockability. Check out Rockabilly Night at The Branded Saloon with Ready Teddy Young, Raw Dogs, & Hudson Hornets! The first official Rockabilly Night at The Branded Saloon brings 1950's influenced live music to Brooklyn! Ready Teddy Young is described as Buddy Holly re-incarnated and plays originals and Buddy Holly covers.

5. Move your car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect today.
