  "Governor Cuomo This is a vibrant and ever growing community that absolutely needs the services of LICH to remain here and fully operational. Please keep our hospital open, our Emergency Room available and our children and loved ones safe.  Removing this vital health facility so it can be replaced with (however lovely/expensive/marketable/profitable they may be) residences --will add even more people. They will of course need medical attention at some point as well, adding to the already  dangerous strain on the other hospitals in the area. It is also only a matter of time before our community members will begin paying with their lives because of the difference in time it is already taking to bring emergency cases to hospitals further away from our community. Please---we need you to intervene and work with us to find a way to keep our community hospital open. Sincerely, xxxxx"
