- Things get a little warmer today, but still beautiful with a high of 76 degrees.
- It's going to be another hot one with highs in the mid-80's before thunderstorms cool it down later in the evening.
- A fundraiser to benefit the Waterfront Museum in Red Hook will take place Thursday at 6 p.m.The Pirate Ball will feature specialty cocktails, great local food, music and sunset views of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty. Tickets are $90 for general admission and $250 for VIP champagne reception. All proceeds benefit the museum.
- Project Reach Youth is now accepting students for its new cycle of SAT prep. In order to register, students must come to 199 4th Street with a parent and take a diagnostic test.
- The Young Players Theater at 1012 8th Ave. hosts a free open house at 4 p.m.
- New Leaf on 9th Street is hosting an evening of movementand teaching about healthy bones and bone density beginning at 6 p.m.
