The Carroll Street Subway Entrance is Finally Open!
The entrance under the newly built 360 Smith Street apartment building is open.
Locals who take the F/G to and from the Carroll Station everyday can get back to their old routine.
The main 2nd Place entrance, shuttered last fall due to the building of the new apartment development 360 Smith St., has been re-opened.
"It's open! We're free!" shouted one straphanger when leaving the station Friday afternoon.

Some people were even clapping.
From the outside, the station looks new and shiny. But once you go underground, it's the same place you remember, which is kind of comforting. Don't you think?
