Illegal Subway Rider Found to Possess Stun Gun

A man was arrested at the corner of Smith and President streets, according to police. On Friday, Feb. 22 at 1:50 a.m. an officer in the Carroll Street station observed an individual standing inbetween subway cars without permission on a Northbound F train, said cops. Upon arrest, the rider was also found to have an electronic stun gun clipped to his front belt. Vance William, 23, was arrested on the spot, cops said.

Rite Aid Crook Cuffed For Stealing Inhalers

A larceny took place at the Rite Aid, located at 182 Smith Street, cops said. On Sunday, Feb. 24 at 12 p.m. property valued at $55.51 was removed from the store without purchase. As a result, officers called to the scene arrested a male, 46, named Julio Cintron. Stolen items included two inhalers ($18 each) two Gilette Mach 3 razors and other items, cops said.

Resident Robbed While Walking To Red Hook

A robbery occurred at the corner of Coles and Henry streets, according to police. On Saturday, Feb. 23 at 8:45 p.m., a victim stated he was walking toward Red Hook when he was approached by two unknown males. One simulated a firearm and demanded the victim's iPhone, police said. The other grabbed various belongings from the victim, 27. Items taken include a wallet, $60 in cash, credit cards, a German driver’s license and an NYU identification card. The crooks are described as two black males. The first was heavyset and bald, weighing approximately 265 pounds. The second was roughly 6 foot 3, 200 pounds and wearing a black jacket.

Car Break-In On Court Street, Coins Taken

A car parked on Court Street was invaded over the weekend and items removed from the console, according to police. At some point between Saturday, Feb. 23 at 9:30 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. on Feb. 24, the driver's side window ($200) of a 2007 grey Honda Pilot was broken into. Items stolen from inside include a power plug ($45) and $30 in coins. The victim is a male, 64. 

iPhone Snatched Aboard G Train

On Saturday, Feb. 23 at 2:20 p.m. a passenger riding a Northbound G train was the victim of theft, said police. The crook allegedly sat down next to the victim. Then, when the train arrived at the Carroll Street station, the thief got up and snatched a cell phone from the hands of the victim and exited to the street. The victim is a female, 58, according to police. The crook is described as a male, black, 18, 6 foot, with a Caesar haircut. Taken was one iPhone with a red case ($200). There are no leads at the time.
