Update: Man Killed by G Train at Carroll St. Station
Both F and G train service was halted as a result of the apparent suicide.
Update, 4:37 p.m.: The Carroll St. station was re-opened and service has been restored to the F and G trains in both directions, but commuters should expect delays.

A man jumped to his death in front of a southbound G train at the Carroll St. station Thursday afternoon, cops said.

Service on both the F and G train lines at the station were suspended indefinitely after the MTA cut all power to the tracks following the 12:55 p.m. incident, according to cops and transit officials.
Officers worked along the tracks using wooden planks to lift the subway car in order to remove the victim.

Cops described the man as being emotionally disturbed and said no criminality was suspected in his death.
