Three young crooks besieged a man at the Northeast corner of Congress and Clinton Streets, robbing him of a $700 iPhone and other items, according to police.
While walking home at 12:20 a.m. on Friday, August 10, the victim was approached just outside of by three unknown individuals who threatened him with a knife and a pair of pliers. After struggling with the leader of the trio, the victim was robbed of his iPhone ($700), headphones ($50) and $100 in cash. He also sustained injuries to his arms from the encounter, said cops.
One young male, 15, was later arrested in conjunction with the robbery. But the other two assailants have yet to be apprehended.
