Karloff Chef Exits One Week After Restaurant Reopens

"There were creative differences," he told Carroll Gardens Patch.

One week after reopening their doors following an , on Court Street has parted ways with longtime chef Vincent Visceglia.

"Due to creative differences and budget problems, myself and Karloff have severed ties," Visceglia wrote to Carroll Gardens Patch in an e-mail. "I hope all the best for them in their decisions and changes. I will not be at the helm going forward."

The split comes just over a week after the rfor business with a new international menu and a few days following a brief profile of Visceglia in The New York Times Dining section.

Owners at Karloff could not be reached for comment as of press time.
